Blanton's Single Barrel Gold Edition
Blanton's was the brainchild of the legendary Kentucky distiller Elmer T. Lee. In 1984, Elmer decided to bottle the worlds first Single Barrel Bourbon and named the whisky in honour of his old boss Colonel Albert B. Blanton who used to entertain guests with bourbon bottled from casks in the centre of warehouse H; what he considered the best location for maturing stock in the best warehouse. This tradition is still kept alive today and all Blanton's Bourbons are selected from the "honey barrels" from the centre cut of warehouse H. This is a highly sought after Bourbon and rightly so.
Each bottle is individually numbered and comes with a gold horse & rider on the cap seal.
