Glen Wyvis Distillery Drop-in x Meet the Maker

Glenwyvis, Scotland’s first community owned distillery is coming to Aberlour town!

Meegan Mackinnon-Murdoch of Glenwyvis will be here at the shop, on Saturday the 18th of November pouring a few drams of Glenwvyis and ready to answer any and all of your questions about the spirit, the distillery and their community focused ethos.

This will be a first of a series of ‘distillery drop in’s’ that we will be hosting in the shop and we will have plenty more to announce in the coming weeks and months.

We currently stock the Batch 2 / 2018 vintage of Glenwyvis and if you have not tried it you really are missing out. It’s a character lead malt, with long fermentation times, distilled in small pot still so what's not to like. Glenwyvis is a benchmark example of the ‘new wave’ of distilleries that have opened up across Scotland in the past decade.

We would encourage any and all of you who can make it down to The Speyside Whisky Shop on Saturday the 18th to do so!
